The problem
Merchants who ship internationally receive updated rate sheets from couriers (like DHL, FedEx, Aramex, or local freight partners) every few months. Applying them manually in Shopify means creating dozens of individual zones and entering hundreds of weight bands by hand — an error-prone process that takes hours.
RateJet eliminates the manual effort entirely. Upload the courier's spreadsheet (.xlsx or .xls), and RateJet automatically groups countries with identical rates into unified zones, applies weight brackets, and synchronizes the entire shipping profile via Shopify's Admin API.
How it works
1. Download the Template
Grab the sample Excel format with S.No, Weight, and country columns directly from the RateJet dashboard.
2. Fill in Courier Rates
Enter weight brackets and destination rates from your carrier's current rate card.
3. Upload & Smart Sync
Drop the Excel file in RateJet. Countries sharing identical pricing are automatically combined into single zones and written to Shopify.
4. Apply Fuel & Handling Surcharges
Optionally apply a percentage markup, fixed handling charge, or both to ensure your margins are protected against carrier price fluctuations.
